Carl celebrated his 38th birthday on April 28. He loves Red Velvet Cake, so I wanted to make a different kind of Red Velvet Cake that I had heard about - a Red Velvet Poundcake with cream chesse frosting. Yummy!! I had to bake it the Saturday before his birthday because I wanted it to be a surprise for him, and he was going to be off from work on Monday (27th) and Tuesday(28th). He got it a little early, but he didn't seem to mind one bit, though. ☺
