Thanksgiving (a little late)

We had a great Thanksgiving at Mom's, feasting on turkey, ham, dressing, mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, squash casserole, sweet potato crunch, turtle cheesecake, and Mama's pecan pie (yum) - have I forgotten anything?? Mama and I had promised to take the kids for a walk down to the lake, so we took off to enjoy the beautiful day after we stuffed ourselves. :o) I knew the lakes were down, but boy, to see it first hand was just shocking. I made a picture standing in the area where my brother and I used to swim when we were much younger. The water was such a long way away. We need to pray for more rain.

After our adventurous walk, the kids and I came back home to do some Christmas decorating. I had one tuckered out cowboy after it was all said and done. :o) He made good use of the clothes that had not made it to their proper places yet.

Mama and little brother J. came by later to help me "fluff" my tree. Tree fluffing is just not my cup of tea, but with the three of us working on it, it took no time at all, and it looked great! They were heading to Wal Mart, so we decided to tag along and keep them company. :o)

Looks like y'all had a good one. The lake looks pretty sad, huh? I think we're getting all your rain--Sunday I thought we were getting Noah's Flood Part 2.
Love ya!
